Background
A powerful documentary film celebrating the stories of three Mokoro polers premiered in July, honoring Botswana’s cultural heritage and the value of traditional knowledge in the Okavango Delta. Produced in collaboration with Batswana and the National Geographic Society, the film highlights the resilience of local communities and the global relevance of their wisdom. The premiere events were held at Riverwalk’s New Capitol Cinema in Gaborone and a custom-built cinema and glass tent in Maun, attended by distinguished guests including President Dr. Mokgweetsi E.K. Masisi and National Geographic CEO Jill Tiefenthaler.
Scope
The project required full-spectrum event execution across two locations — Gaborone and Maun. Our responsibilities included:
