Background
In September 2024, the Botswana Tourism Organisation hosted the Africa Tourism Leadership Cultural Dinner to celebrate pan-African pioneers driving innovation and transformation within the travel, tourism, hospitality, and aviation industries across the continent. The event honored the vision and achievements of industry changemakers who are shaping Africa’s future in tourism, held under the symbolic Gaborone skies at The Three Chiefs Monument.
Scope
Our task was to design and execute an immersive gala dinner that reflected the spirit of African innovation and unity. This included:
- Conceptualizing and styling the tablescapes and props
- Incorporating afro-centric themes and vibrant colors
- Venue décor aligned with the natural beauty of Botswana’s sunsets
- Coordination of setup, lighting, and ambiance to complement the outdoor setting
- Vendor management and on-site event execution
Our Approach
We crafted an afro-centric, sunset-inspired ambiance that beautifully honored African innovation and heritage, seamlessly blending cultural elements with elegant design to create an unforgettable gala dinner experience under the Botswana skies
