Background
In July 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a State Banquet in honour of the official visit of the Governor General of The Bahamas to Botswana. As part of her diplomatic itinerary, the banquet served as a gesture of goodwill, cultural exchange, and strengthened bilateral relations between the two nations. This prestigious occasion brought together just under 150 distinguished guests, including government officials, diplomats, and high-level delegates.
Scope
Our responsibility was to deliver a full-scale, high-level banquet experience that aligned with the formality and diplomatic significance of the event. Our scope included:
- Guest seating layout and protocol management
- Tablescaping and floral design
- Lighting, staging, and sound coordination
- Vendor sourcing and on-site coordination
- Project management and timeline delivery
